Things placed in unlikely places
Living with small kids, I always find things placed in very unlikely places.
1. A can of ghee in the washing machine drum. This is the very first time Bea1 showed her own preference.
2. Colour pencils in the washing machine
3. Astro remote control in waste basket
4. Books in the fridge
5. Balloons and handpump (for balloon twisting) in the fridge
They had a great time with papa the night before, and made laugh out loud the next morning when I found the balloons there:).
6. Astro remote control (again) in a sock. We survived without it for 2 weeks, searched for it high and low. The sock was lying under the sofa. I was protesting against collecting hubby's socks and decided to leave it there until he picked it himself. It took him two weeks, and two weeks without the remote...argh! Anyway, I found it amusing after that!
7. Plates in the waste basket.
8. Pacifier (we used it for awhile for Bea2 when I drive alone with the girls) in hubby's pocket. He worked all day with a pacifier in his pocket;)
And a lot others that I can't remember at the moment.

LOL! I have yet to experience these moments at my home.
I'm sure its really amusing when you find things at odd places.. but nerve wracking when you can't find it where it is supposed to be, right :)
that shall never happen at my home, never! *pzzzappp! strucked by lightning for lying*
great post. can totally relate. Luckily It changes as they grow older only now its smelly socks on the sofa.....( my kids are 11,9 and 5)
:-) We used to keep most of the important stuff beyond the reach of Rahil but the problem is that she is growing up fast and she now uses a stool to reach places she can't reach by tip toe.
heheh .. our best-est lost & found - air fresher (yg spray type) dlm freezer. :)
Hi!
Nice blog you have here and such cute kids too.
Well, I have an experience just like that once. I was looking everywhere for my 2 yrs old daughter's short skirt. I looked all around the house until one night I saw my daughter putting some small toys into a big, tall, brass vase in the living room.
I turned it upside down and discovered my long lost treasures such as the skirt(of course), small toys, keys etc!:)
I like your post..
Now you think it's funny...wait lah till ur handphone or car keys goes missing just when you need it the most...
Nice blog btw! =)
hahaahaaa... interesting indeed...
LOL hehehe...gelak besar idham baca ....especially remote control dlm sock tuh..very original...rasa mmg nak jumpa je siapa yg buat tu..nak minta autograph dia hehehe
idham <--unkel notty jugak nih adek weyy
I had read through each and every single one of your posts. So heartwarming...Not going to comment every single one but Bea3 is soooo pretty.
Geetha, I wonder if you have a helper in your house. Think it would not be that 'serious';) if we have someone to always observe the kids. In our case, we try to make the house as safe for kids as possible...I just leave them to play on their own if I have things to do, that's why la suddenly find things in odd places.
Buaya...aiyah, no need to lie wan, tahu already lah.
Anon...oh no, does it mean I would also have more socks to pick up after this phase pass?
Adam...tell you, kids are smart leh. My girls now use a table and place a chair on it to reach higher shelves *headache*
haariz's mom...I found toothpaste in the freezer;)
sherin...thanks for visiting. Took a peek at your blog too.
It is cute when they have their own hiding place, right!
Sarah's mummy...as for phone, we tried to find it by calling with the other phone, luckily so far we never lost both;). Car keys never happen but I almost gone mad when we lost the house keys...it was in the trycycle basket;).
lrong...interestng but sometimes makes me going nuts also.
Idham...thanks for visiting, just browsed your blog...nice story in the plane;).
About the remote, yang kelakar...when I swept the floor, I even avoided it, being adamant of not having anything to do with it. It never occured to us, it was in there till hubby picked it up.
Awwww Lil, you are so nice...I also like to read through my posts;) *perasan*...I mean it is nice to record things that happen around me, thx for introducing blog to me.
About Bea3, like this think I would not mind having more 'surprises' after this;)
